This whole last week has been very inconsistent with bluefin tuna. One day they are here, next day they are over there, next day no where to be found, then yesterday, right behind catalina. I also believe yesterday batch behind catalina was a different batch because the foamer fish were 60-100 pounds and even there were some yellowfin mixed in too! We ended our day with 5 fish, 3 bluefin up to 100lbs and 2 yellowfin in the 20-25lb range. We did do some kite fishing on foam but there were way too many boats. We did get a couple bites, and pulled the hook on one. Then just proceeded to chase them with poppers. I did hear of a couple spreader bar fish too! Random bites! I actually was trying to mad mac yesterday for about an hour or so, and got no bites. Im off today, but back on Tuesday- Saturday. Good luck to all! The clear feed poppers worked best for us
